We don’t always recognize the signs – we’ve all been in the grocery, doctor’s office, or at an event and seen something that made us wonder if abuse was happening but we didn’t know what to do. April Haven Update
April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month. Do you know what sexual assault incudes? Have you talked to your kids about what consent means? It can be an awkward conversation but it’s essential that we talk to our kids about what sexual assault is and what consent means.
