July Haven Update

This past month was Pride Month. Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer (LGBTQ is an abbreviation for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer or questioning. These terms are used to describe a person’s sexual orientation or gender identity) Pride Month is currently celebrated each year in the month of June. The purpose of the commemorative month is to recognize the impact that lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender individuals have had on history locally, nationally, and internationally.
