The National Coalition Against Domestic Violence (NCADV) is officially releasing its 2021 “Remember My Name” today, marking the 28th addition to the collection. The poster’s release coincides with Domestic Violence Awareness Month (DVAM) in October.
Children who experience abusive situations are forced to process complex emotions, often without access to the resources they need to do so. Planning for your children’s physical and emotional health is essential for their short-term and long-term wellbeing, no matter how old they are.
In 2021, the National Indigenous Women’s Resource Center (NIWRC) and our National Partners Work Group on Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls are organizing a full National Week of Action (April 29-May 5) to call the nation and the world to action in honor of missing and murdered Indigenous women and girls.
