I recently came across an interesting article in Vogue magazine with an interview with FKA Twigs. When I looked her up I learned that she is an acclaimed English singer-songwriter as well as a survivor of domestic violence. Her personal experience became a public story when she pressed assault charges against a previous boyfriend. In a recent interview with Gayle King on CBS This Morning, King asked Twigs why she didn’t leave her abuser.
