Haven FYI – Friday January 9, 2026

Thank you to everyone who joined us for the Awareness Walk on Ribbon Skirt Day. We were excited to have 97 participants who came together to raise awareness about stalking prevention and mental health, while honoring the strength, resilience, and cultural significance of women in our community. The walk was a cooperative effort between the ESTOO Wellness Center, Prevention Pathways and RISE (local group of Family Violence Prevention Projects) Thank you partners!
If you were unable to attend, I hope you will take a moment to read a few of  the walk posters included in this email. The posters  include  information on stalking prevention and mental health , as well as meaningful quotes from local Tribal members that highlight the cultural significance of ribbon skirts, the honoring of women, and the high esteem women hold within Tribal cultures. Courtney Ross, with Prevention Pathways did an awesome job designing the posters.
Thank you again for walking with us, for showing up for one another, and for helping bring awareness to issues that matter deeply to our communities. Together, we continue to uplift culture, promote safety, and support mental wellness.
