October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month- and this week I want to share some positive news from the NAAV Coalition regarding bills from the Oklahoma Legislature that strengthens protections and support for those affected by domestic violence.
There is still more work to be done, but recognizing meaningful progress is important. These efforts are a positive step in the right direction, and continued awareness, advocacy, and action can help us build safer communities for everyone.
