Hello everyone –

This past week, May 5, was national day of awareness for Missing and Murdered Native Women and Girls.

In 2021, the National Indigenous Women’s Resource Center (NIWRC) and our National Partners Work Group on Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls are organizing a full National Week of Action (April 29-May 5) to call the nation and the world to action in honor of missing and murdered Indigenous women and girls.

Take two minutes and watch this video…learn…we have to say their names…we have to see that this is happening in every state including Oklahoma. Look at the poster above – Oklahoma is one of the top 10 states with highest number of MMIWG cases.
